Still Time to Join the Fun: More Info on Becoming a Park Rapids Water Ski Team Member!

Hey all Heartland Lakes Area neighbors and every water sport enthusiasts!

Just a friendly reminder that there’s still plenty of time to get involved with the Park Rapids Water Ski Team this summer! We’re gearing up for an awesome season on the water, and we want YOU to be a part of it! If you’re thinking about joining our fantastic water ski family, or know someone who would be a great fit, keep reading for a few more details!

What does it mean to be part of the team?

It means being part of a welcoming community that shares a love for water sports and promotes that love by putting on some exciting ski shows through out the summer. Whether you’re a experienced skier, or prefer to contribute your talents on shore, there are so many ways to be an essential part of this team.

Do I need experience?

Absolutely not! We welcome individuals of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced skiers. We have dedicated members who are excited to teach you the ropes (literally!) and help you develop your skills in a supportive and fun environment.

It’s a Family Affair!

We truly are a family-oriented team. Water skiing is a wonderful activity that the whole family can enjoy together, whether participating directly in the show or helping with the many behind-the-scenes roles. It’s a great way to spend quality time together outdoors this summer.

Beyond the Skis:

Joining isn’t just about skiing. We need a great support crew too! This includes crucial roles like:

• Boat Drivers: Get behind the wheel of our powerful show boats!
• Spotters: Help ensure safety and communication on the water.
• Dock and Equipment Crew: Keep everything running smoothly.
• And many other valuable volunteer positions!

The best way to see what we’re all about is to come and see us! Practices are planned to begin in June and typically run on Mondays and Fridays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Spruce Hill Campground, weather permitting. Feel free to stop by, say hello, and see the team in action.
