The Heart of Our Practice: Thank You, Spruce Hill Campground!

While most of our fans see us under the bright sun at showtime, the real story of our team is written during the quiet hours of rehearsal at Spruce Hill Campground. We want to extend a very special thank you to John, Pat, and Teri Nelson for providing the sanctuary where our team truly comes together.

Spruce Hill is a true Northwoods gem—a quiet, seasonal community where families come to slow down and enjoy the best of Minnesota. But for us, it’s where the real magic begins. For nearly every year of our existence, the Nelsons have graciously allowed us to use their shores as our primary practice site. While our fans see the polished pyramids and intricate ballet lines at the shows, those moments were all born right here, through hours of dedication on the Spruce Hill waterfront.

Over the years, John, Pat, and Teri have been so much more than just hosts; they have been the silent engine behind our success. Their hospitality has given us a consistent, safe place to train, allowing generations of local kids to learn the ropes and perfect their skills. They have watched our team grow from the very beginning, and their unwavering support is a testament to their love for this community and its youth.
